I remember feeling unenthusiastic about Thornton and our OL recruiting at one time. It just seemed we were missing out on quite a few but is proving to be a very good recruiter. So as some may know, a congressman/woman can give an outright appointment or select 10 finalists and then the Academy picks the final one. So yes it was a congressional appointment but it was the academy that made the selection out of the 10 the congresswoman sent in. Thank you BB Thank you...
