Bojangles is opening the first franchise location in Southeast Louisiana. They have chosen to open it in Albany.
Albany seems like an odd location to open. There isn't much in Albany.

So does McDonald’s, Wendy’s and Chick Fil A.

Not my Wendy's. Their breakfast is awful.

Wendy's has a fine breakfast. Good bacon, real cracked eggs and some killer potato wedge things...

There's a Bojangles sign off one of the other I-12 exits. I was always curious where it was but never tried to find out.

Have one on Siegen Lane in Baton Rouge. All my NOLA friends want to eat there when in town.

There's a Whataburger in Arlington Center on Lee and Burbank in BR, as well as another in Gonzales on Airline.

You have shitty taste buds. Or a shitty Wendy's. Or both.

There is a McDonald’s, though it’s ran horribly bad. The other reason they likely chose that location is there are no other chicken places in the area. I imagine if it’s ran well it will do really good in that location.

The steak biscuits are awesome. I like that they serve breakfast even after “breakfast hours (I was told until about 2PM).” I will sometimes get two steak biscuits and an order of hash brown rounds for lunch.
Not sure if it’s just the location, but the one in Monroe is ran very well. Like Chick-fil-A level service.

Bojangles rice > Popeyes
Breakfast spicy chicken biscuit w/egg is solid.

I was disappointed that Hardees didn't make it here. I lived in Montgomery and I used to go there all the time for a biscuit. Their biscuits were made from scratch in the store. TV Chanel 8 in Montgomery did a five minute video on how Hardees made their biscuits from scratch.
