Looking to have Thanksgiving lunch at a restaurant. Any recommendations for restaurants offering special Thanksgiving menu?

Cracker Barrel?

Not many places nationwide are even open on Thanksgiving, including Chinese places.

We went to Golden Corral last year and amazingly, I actually liked it. In previous years we've done Piccadilly. Crowne Plaza does a buffet, but it's pricy.

I’m pretty sure French Market Bistro is open for lunch. I know some people that said they went to BRQ for Thanksgiving so I’m guessing they are open. I think Flemings does a prix fixe. Houmas House I think does a buffet. When I’ve had to work out of town during Thanksgiving week I’ve done Texas De Brazil.

Whatever you choose make sure you call ASAP (like tomorrow) to get reservations

Boudreaux’s on Government Street used to do a wonderful thanksgiving meal. Not sure if they still do that.

We did the buffet at Houmas House several years ago. Pricey, but good.

I’m not surprised. After all, it’s the best steakhouse in Baton Rouge.

Some of the larger hotels ususally do a buffet feed.

Yes, the one off Millerville. It was packed, but surprisingly, everything was smooth and efficient.

I get downvoted every year for listing them, but it was actually a good homestyle meal when our family went a few years ago.

I've heard their buffets are pretty good for buffets.

Don't know if BR still has a Copelands but the one in Covington does a nice Thanksgiving dinner or you can order from the regular menu.

Several years ago we went to Mansur's on Thanksgiving and really enjoyed it. Not sure if they still do it but would be worth checking on.

If I remember correctly they had two meal choices, maybe one with the traditional turkey and dressing and the other with a special seafod dish.
