Could someone give me a recipe or link for a good dipping sauce for a crawfish boil? I usually like something mayonnaise based, but am open to anything good. Thanks.

Drive to nearest Raising Cane's location. Order gigantic cup of sauce.
It's my all time favorite, without a doubt.
ETA: I usually bring some with me to boils where I don't know the cook, just in case they suck at boiling. For a decent boil, I usually don't use it at much if at all.

I'm not sure what I didn't try to eat with Cane's sauce on it for a while in college. We'd get that stuff by the medium drink cupfull. Then it got old, but it was good. Cane's it too far away now. But a good idea.

well a dipping sauce should only be used for fried crawfish tails IMO, never for boiled Crawfish
that being said I love the sauce Copelands serves with their fried tails
its a sweet sauce but has a kick too.....recipe would be dope

A nice touch is to add some grated parm...

dice 1/2 red (purple) onion and season with tony's and let sit in a GLASS bowl for at least an hour.
ADD TO ONIONS AFTER MARINATED:
1 cp- Ketchup
1/2 cp- Mayo
couple dashes- LOUISIANA hot sauce
couple dashes- DILL WEED (not dill seed)
The keys to this recipe is the marinating of the onions. But, most IMPORTANTLY the DILL WEED

I don't get it, the whole purpose of eating crawfish is to taste what you boil it in. If you are going to dip it, why even season the boil in the first place.
