S Tier: Bacon, Coffee
A Tier: Sausage, Omelettes
B Tier: Waffles, Yogurt, Fruit, Muffins
C Tier: Oatmeal, Eggs, Cereal, Croissants
F Tier: Turkey Bacon

Im sure I left some things off but we need to nail down the basics first.

Is there anything that should be demoted?

Most places I've stayed don't have "hot" options for a continental breakfast. Just cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast.

Is this at a hotel or not?

I need to know what the environment is when I’m evaluating.

Bacon needs a major downgrade. It's been years since I've had edible bacon at a continental breakfast.

Sausage is the most S of S-tiers. Cereal should be S-tier because they can't frick it up

A tier is coffee, oatmeal, and waffles

I can't rate eggs, but I imagine most people would have them down by C if they saw the tubes the (scrambled) eggs come out of it's fricking gross

i see a lot of turkey sausage these days. it's probably C tier

biscuits and gravy occurs occasionally and i sometimes get it. often, it's too much in the morning.

i never get them but i also very often see like jimmy dean prepackaged sandwiches.

truth. it's usually so thin you can read through it and cooked to death.

i don't bother with the eggs any more because they usually suck

i usually just go with the waffles at the places with the waffle iron. at least i know that's freshly cooked.

Continental Breakfast

I get enough coffee to get me to a Mickey D's or Waffle House.

If the fruit includes berries, it belongs in S or at least A tier.

If it is just unripe melon, put it below the turkey bacon.

Sausage and bacon are both hit or miss on continental breakfasts and belong on the same tier.

Most of the hotels I've stayed in lately offer some kind of breakfast potato which belongs in the top tier.
