Craft beer build your own six packs: How much do you usually pay?

My favorite liquor store has a mix and max build your own six pack with all of their craft beers. They do the cost of the single beers minus 30% and it still usually runs me between 15 and 20 bucks.
A local bi lo grocery store has a mix and match for only 9.29 but obviously not as good of a variety. They still have some Highland, Victory, Dogfish head, Left hand, Founder and few others. Really good deal but I have tried they have.
Also what type of beers do you usually include in your six pack?

Depends on if the store charges a flat rate, or by the bottle like yours does...
I cheat at Albertsons...

How do you cheat? At the grocery store I was talking about some of the beers are 13 bucks a six pack and sometimes if I just want to drink the same beer and not a mix I will just put them in the mix your own six pack and get it for the 9.29.

Albertson's in town does mix 6-packs for a flat $9.99, but they only include certain beers. You could grab singles out of packs from beers not included and the cashier would never know the difference.
I've always assumed that's what happened when I see packs on the shelf missing a bottle or two.
At the one near me they now have the regular beer aisle and the mixed 6er section on opposite ends of the store, but if someone really wanted to, they still could do it.

You ever try their Beer Thousand? I had it last nite and it was awesome. Almost tasted like an apple/pear wine. 10% abv also. I think I am gonna pick up a four pack tonite.

Here in Tampa you usually can get them for $9.99 a mixed six at the grocery stores and liquor stores. They have a decent selection but a little limited. A place called Total Wine has damn near an aisle full of singles to make your 6. Have been able to try a wide variety of styles and Brewers thanks to this. I dig it.

you're not going to be able to fit in those size 32s baw if you keep drinking those 300 calorie beers.

At Hokus Pokus, the build bottles are hot. How big of a foul is it to grab a cold one and replace with the hot?

Used to hit up a gas station in Mississippi that sold for 7.99. That is the best deal I've ever seen. Selection wasn't top notch but couldn't beat the price

Full of Awesomeness!
Are you going to Habersham Beverage on Abercorn?
I like that place, but the pick six is not a great deal. Like you said though, the selection is excellent, and you can mix almost any 12 oz beer in the store.

The only place I've been tempted to do it is at WF. The mix and match is $9.99, but the selection is only fair, when compared to the bomber section. Also, there are a lot of beers that are sold as singles that are not in the build-your-own section. Those are the ones I'm primarily interested in, anyway. You won't find a Ten-Fidy or 3-Way in the BYO.
I drink a lot of tap beer when I'm out and mostly BXN beer when I'm at home. The only time I'd get a mix and match would be if I'm going to have a party and want a variety to introduce non-mavens to some decent beer.

Where? The cheapest I have seen down here is 9.99 and that's with piss poor selection

I usually go to the location on Habersham but the Abercorn one has a better selection. It is really expensive but I am also getting lots of stuff that is like 15 bucks for a four pack. I have got six packs there that were over 30 bucks before.

Our whole foods doesn't have a mix and max but has a shitty selection anyway. The liquor store I go to has stuff like ten fiddy and prairie bomb included. It is basically anything in the store that is not a bomber. This is what gets me in trouble.
