I prefer crabs and shrimp, but crawfish boils make for the most fun parties.

The meat of a properly boiled blue crab is about the best thing on the planet. Give me a butter knife and let me go to town. Love picking crabs.

Most definitely. I don't even find it labor intensive like a lot of others. Sitting down with a six pack and a dozen crabs is pure heaven.

Why do you sit for crabs, but stand for crawfish?

This almost literally blew my mind.

Crabs are not only my favorite seafood, they may be my favorite thing to eat on the planet Earth. I think the effort it takes to get to the meat actually adds to the experience.

Love them both, but if given the choice, I'd take crabs over crawfish 9.9 times out of 10. The meat in freshly boiled crabs is a dream come true for me.

Love crawfish and shrimp but my choice would have to be jumbo crabs.

Great question. I rather crawfish in a close one but I boil more crabs because its easier for me to catch them.

I'd gladly take either right now.

In terms of taste, crabs and its not even close.
But peeling them is such a hassle that I would rather have a crawfish boil than a crab boil.
