If so, how do you like it?

Does it heat evenly and sear well?

Any warping problems?

Blackstone seems to be the most popular brand but does anyone have thoughts on other brands?

I have the 28, I love it, sears great but you can also turn it down for lower heat cooking.

I have the 36” and use it all the time. I’ve had it for a year and no issues yet.

And it’s a big griddle, so it’s going to have hot spots, but I get pretty good sears.

Made pancakes/bacon and fajitas this weekend.

I have this one... TD Thread On Mine. I use it twice a week minimum. I cooked hibachi rice, vegetables, steaks, burgers, grillades, breakfast, lo main. You won't be disappointed.

My buddy has the Camp Chef Model.... it's really nice as well and seams to be a little more heavy duty. I did warp my top once but it went back flat. It was really hot and dropped to
uch water on it at once, my mistake.

I have the 36".

cooked breakfast for about 30 people over the Easter weekend. Eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns.

Cooked burgers for the same group with grilled onions and mushrooms.

Well worth the cost. I have not seen any warping since getting it a year ago.

Only thing I would say is if you aren't using it weekly you will need to do some maintenance work.

I need to make sure I use mine more often. Was good about it the first couple months but haven't been the last 4 weeks.

If you keep it oiled properly there isn't much maintenance. I just took the cover off after winter and there was no rust. I've had mine about 3 years. I think I started the Blackstone trend on TD.

It's not rust but just some grime etc. nothing a good heat up and scrub down won't solve of course. I have it locked up near a tree so that probably adds to some of my "woes"

Anyone have a griddle plate that they can just add on to a propane grill? If so, how do they perform?

I have the 36” and can echo what others have said, the thing is awesome. It gets plenty hot enough for a good steak sear. Hibatchi, breakfast, burgers, tacos, fajitas, philly steaks. Just keep it well oiled and get a good cover.

i love mine but i do like the Blue Rhino version wit the fold out side tables. but i dont like the placement of the grease trap.

I have the new blackstone design and i like it better than the original with the track in the front but i still dont like it in the back. i would they would have doe away with the track and kept the trap on the side corner.

LIttle Griddle Professional

Works great for smaller cooks and it's stainless steel.

Thanks VABuckeye. Would you recommend Stainless Steel or getting the Cast Iron flat top griddle as the grill attachment?

If you plan to do steak or burgers dont overload it. Leave some room around the edges tmao you can get that good seer.

I have the 28” Blackstone and I really like it. Cooked fajitas on it last night. Make sure you get a cover for it.

The Blue Rhino has the best design feature with the side tables that fold up to cover the griddle. I have heard the best things about he Camp Chef and the Blackstone. The biggest differentiator seems to be the grease trap designs.

I really need to get a flat top grill. I have a griddle that goes over my two burner camp stove and works fine occasionally, but I’d love something bigger. The pain is finding a place to store it.

Has anyone built a flat top grill into an island in a cabana? Would the grease traps make it too difficult?

Does anybody with the 36” wish they had the 28” or vice versa? I’m about to pull trigger on one. I’m putting it on my back patio which is also home to several cooking apparatuses and space is at a premium. I like the smaller size and fit of the 28” but don’t want to sell myself short on cooking area if I’m going to need it. Want it for the staandard breakfast, burgers, fajitas etc
