A couple of threads mentioned Electric Jellyfish, an IPA brewed at Pinthouse in Austin.
Was surprised to see it at chains like HEB for around $18 per 4-pack.
Anybody tried it? Worth it?

It's damn good but I've never had it from cans

4.08/5 on Untappd. Friends of mine on there have rated it highly

I’ve only had it on draft, but it’s fantastic.

EJ is great.
I used to beertend at PHP S Lamar, which is where the Jellyfish originated. Back in the day, there were only two Pinthouses, and each had its own original beers made at that particular pub, and there was very little crossover (one head brewer, two different brew crews).
Now that they have the brewhouse, they are able to brew EJ there and distro to all 4 brewpubs, but for a while it was only available through us at the pub or a handful of bars around town. It was nice because it meant we were always busy.

It is good but incredibly overpriced, much like parish's special offerings. Lone Pint's Yellow Rose is better and cheaper.

Where do you find it around here?

Not worth that

Lol @ first couple of posts. It's a fine, solid IPA. Good to have when you were sitting around at the old Craft Pride or something on Rainey, but I don't think I've ever thought about it when I leave Texas.
