Fried Crab Claws

A few weeks ago I boiled some crabs. Once all was eaten and cleaned I had a couple dozen claws left over. Not wanting to waste I put in a ziploc and froze. Is it possible to thaw and crack to fry. Thanks

No they are already boiled. You'd be better served thawing and making a ceviche with em.

“Fresh” crabmeat you buy in any form is going to be boiled (or at least parboiled enough to peel and clean). Maybe not as much as in a crab boil, but he should be okay breading and quick frying, as much as with any he’d be otherwise.

I think he means he brought fresh crabs and boiled them bro.

I understood that. My point is, any fried crab claw you get anywhere will have been boiled, at least to some extent, prior to being fried. So the fact that his have been boiled shouldn’t really matter much here.

Yes. When you buy "fresh" crab claws, they aren't just pulled off of live crabs and packaged. They are boiled, along with the crabs, then packaged, just like the lump meat.
