Boudin Shack recently opened up next to the donut shop on the corner of HWY 30 and Gardere. I highly recommend it.

I like Jerry Lee's. It is not the best by any means but it is certainly good boudin and most importantly locally available fresh.

Ronnie’s boudin balls are pretty special too, but only fresh.

Day’s smokehouse in Watson

Bergeron’s in Port Allen is solid , Idk about the best though because I haven’t tried many

Best Stop is OK, but I've always thought it was somewhat overrated, and the frozen isn't as good as the fresh. I've also had the smoked at Ronnie's and it was good, but inferior to the smoked boudin options in Acadiana. My personal favorite in this area is Benoit's Country Meat Block in Addis

Worst boudin I've ever had.

You must have never had Richard's boudin

Rouses brand boudin has honestly been my go-to lately. Very good flavor and spice.

You're right, I don't buy boudin from grocery stores.

Bergeron’s and Ronnie’s are my favorite local boudins. Don’t really care for Days or Porky’s or Jerry Lee. I tried the new Boudin Shack on Nicholson, it didn’t stand out to me but I’d need to try it again.

I think Market Basket is pretty respectable if in SW LA

A vote for Ronnie’s. I live near Days and never go as their cracklings have never been good and the boudin is meh at best. Everyone raves about Jerry Lee’s—it is pretty good.

I don't care much for Jerry Lee's... too much black pepper
