Cooking some tonight. Looks like it's going to rain so no grill. What are some good ways to bake it in the oven
What about some good sides to pair with it

I rub them with olive oil and a generous amount of McCormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning, then grill.

Soy sauce, paprika and lemon pepper.

Salt, pepper and lemon juice. Haven't used soy, but that would be good too.

Soy, ginger, oj and olive oil. Cook in a cast iron skillet. Get skillet very hot....bout 500 deg with a very thin coat of high temp oil i.e. canola. Sear tuna on each side for about 90 seconds.

I dry them, rub in olive oil, season with sea salt and cracked black pepper.
Sear on hothot for 30-45 seconds on each side. Done.

Yes this is what I would do. If you can't use the grill, go cast iron.

Has anyone actually done this? What is the technique/temp you bake tuna? All good recipes I've seen involve high heat sears.
Oh and I slayed some tuna yesterday. Have two ice chests full. gonna be a protein rich environment in my house this week

I've been loving Kimchi rice lately. Can you find Kimchi where you live? You just chop it up, fry it for 4-5 minutes in a couple tbl spoons of oil and add in already cooked rice. Let it cook on low for 3 or 4 minutes. Done. I like the spicy Kimchi but there are several different kinds. I;ve been making/ fermenting my own Kimchi at home.
If Kimchi isn't possible, asparagus and a baked potato is always good

Cast iron was lost in the move. Made a note to be the one responsible for packing up the kitchen from here on out

Good answers here, I'd add a little fresh thyme to your marinade. Delicious with tuna. A very small amount of sesame oil and rice wine vin are good additions as well.

I'm going to see if I can find Kimichi at the store

I like to do it two different ways
I'll take a good mustard, fresh lemon juice, olive oil and a little soy and mix it. Salt and pepper and sear it high like Zappas.
Another way is simple with olive oil, salt, pepper, lime or lemon juice, and coat both sides with white and black sesame seeds. Cook on high to rare.

Brush with sesame oil and dusting with sea salt. Put a little sesame oil in the pan a sear. Shave lime zest over after it's done.
