"The Hooters restaurant in Lafayette on Ambassador Caffery Parkway has unexpectedly shut down, marking an end to its 25-year run in the city. This closure came as a surprise to many, with no prior announcement from the local restaurant or Hooters of Louisiana, the franchise owner."

Quality of wings went to shite and the prices went up. Won’t be surprised to see more closing

Hooters used to be the GOAT for wings. I never cared for the fake trashy chicks. Now that their wings are not as good, there’s no reason to go.

don’t we have a hooters operator here?

They'll probably build another "Lafayette style" pizza place.

Yep some years back it was hard to beat Hooters bone in wings.

I thought their boneless wings were still OK (though overpriced for sure)...it doesn't surprise me this one closed though...they hardly ever had a decent crowd there.

It may be "unfair", but it's true. Guys don't typically go there to see a gal in her second trimester sporting the uniform or a gal in her third in a windbreaker jacket.

I go to hooters exactly 1 time per year for a Fantasy Football draft. it is not my type of place and I wouldn't ever go there otherwise.
But if I am going to Hooters, you obviously want at least the girls to be hot.
The last few years I haven't seen a single even remotely attractive one. I'm pretty sure 1 had a hunchback

Jmarto. I think he’s a manger locally. He may own the franchise.
Whoever owns the franchise here in Metaire does a good job. It’s 2 or 3 time a year place for me, but it’s always been good.

Gonna be an abundance of applications at Twin Peaks and Michaels.

Probably 15 years ago or so. But, it's been over 10 years since I've been to one.
I noticed the same thing when I went to Walk-On's a couple years ago. Talent, at least at the Lafayette location, definitely went downhill.
