Anybody have suggestions for cutting the burning sensation from crawfish boil seasoning? I seem to remember something about lemon juice...

crush up some crackers and rub it in..

I always used lemons for any nasty smell that remains on my hands. We used to do it after we finished skinning alligators which leave a horrible odor.

That's what I've heard too; it gets rid of the smell and burn.

Amputation/decapitation if the other suggestions don't work

Believe it or not, rubbing your hands in the crawfish you just ate helps get it off.

Did you have crawfish where they season them on the outside and throw them in an ice-chest? Never understood that route personally.

I don't care, yellow. It's painless, keep crawfish crud out from under my nails, saves me from burning contacts and eyes, protects my manicure and makes for really easy cleanup among other things. Oh, and when the crawfish eating is over, my hands don't smell of seafood.
You do what you want, but I've been using gloves for well over 10 years. If I bring a box to a boil, people swarm to use them. You can call me names while you scrub the crud off your hands.

All the licking in the world doesn't take the sting off the fingers, OG. I can lick the fat off my gloved fingers just fine.

It's Sunday, OG. Don't you take a day of rest from gutter thinking?

You're not watching the game. You're watching the players.
