Ice cream cone preference

As a kid, I’d always wanted a waffle cone, but now that I'm older, the cake cone is my favorite over waffle and sugar. Maybe for nostalgic sake, but I love that last bite which provides the best cone to ice cream ratio.
Instead of using a bowl, lately I’ve been preferring to buy a cheap box of cones and going with that instead.

I like the cones used in drumsticks, though the ice cream isn't that great. The last bit at the bottom of the cone with the hardened chocolate inside is great. I wish ice cream shops would do this with their waffle cones.

Good call. Drumstick sugar cones are good with that last chocolate bite.

generally don't prefer cones anymore.
However, if i'm ever at a Jason's deli, fill in the bottom of their cones with their chocolate syrup before getting the ice cream is the move.

your taste buds change so you like different things as adult then you did as a kid. try a cereal you ate as a kid, i bet as an adult it tastes bad to you, but you loved it as a kid.
salt and sugar will continue to taste different to you the older you get

Those OG soft serve machines make the GOAT ice cream cones. Used to get them at Cotton’s barbecue in Robstown, Tx. Darrell’s seafood in Pineville has one. So does the dessert buffet at the paragon in Marksville.

waffle. No chocolate coatings or sprinkles.
Unfortunately last time I went out for ice cream I had to take out signature loan at the register to pay for our order.
