Traeger Pro
Green Mountain Daniel Boone (the pizza insert intrigues me with this one)
REC TEC RT-590

I've only used the Traeger and it is amazing. I would like to know the size and price difference b/t the Traeger and the Green Mountain

Of those choices, I would get a yoder

I have the GMG and it's awesome. I really like the attachments the sell too, like the pizza oven.

How sturdy is it? For instance, I used to get those Walmart specials gas grills and they would rattle when you brush them. I bought a Weber and its built like a tank.

It's pretty sturdy, most of the metal is 14 gauge or better. My only complaint is the paint they use doesn't hold up to really high temps well and will kinda flake in areas. This really only comes into play when I use the pizza attachment and turn that thing all the way up.

I'm leaning towards the Rec tec Stampede with the comp cart. Yoder is prob better, but I won't (I think) use it enough to justify the price.

Rec-Tec
Actually in Augusta for a conference and going by the Rec-Tec store when I'm done.

Is it possible to get a Rec-Tec without the bull horns?

I have the Daniel Boone and I don't have any complaints.

If you don't want the bull horns, you can't handle a Rec-Tec.

Look into Grilla Grills Silverbac.
I recently made a decision similar to this one. Traegar seems to have lots of quality control issues these days. Rec Tec is well respected but there was talk of funny business with negative reviews and weaponizing fans against people that gave negative reviews. Probably a great product, but with such a close decision it factored in for me.
I narrowed it down to GMG and Grilla. I went with the Grilla Silverbac Alpha because wifi not relevant for me and the dual mode controller intrigued me. Now I can use both PID or traditional mode. So far I've been extremely happy. Made probably the best brisket I've made on it.

Wait a few months to see what the new Weber pellet (SmokeFire) is all about...at least that’s my plan. Supposedly it will be able to hit 600 degrees, which none of these can do. Will sell both my WSM & Genesis if it’s legit.

You would, one of the great things about a pellet grill is how much more you will use it due to the ease of use.
It aint just the ribs & brisket etc, it is how easy it is to throw a whole chicken on on a Tuesday night throw some veg on a while after and you are done, no musss no fuss and the house is not heated up.
We probably use our oven only 20% as much as we did before.

Definitely the RecTec. I have that one and it’s amazing. It’s way better built than the Traeger.

None of the above. If you’re going to get a pellet smoker, you should just spend money getting takeout from a restaurant. That will be much better, as the restaurant will not be using pellets.
You smoke food with fire and wood, not with electric plug-in outdoor ovens and pellets. Even the manufacturers of these things recognize this when they design their outdoor plug-in ovens to look like real smokers to the casual eye.
