Is it bad to eat the crawfish poopline?

Settle this debate between myself and a female friend (no pics). She says that it is disgusting to eat the poop line out of a crawfish and that everyone she knows takes it out. I say it is too much work to take the poop line out of every single tail while I am eating them. What say you?

With my peeling technique it's pretty easy to get it out, that said I don't always do it.

If it was bad for you I'd have died about 30 years ago. You know how some people are about food, no pink in their steak, no raw fish (sushi) and no shite in their seafood.

Takes me one motion to pull off the end of the tail along with the poop line. I don't think it's harmful to you if you do eat it, but being so easy to get it out everytime I normally won't eat it unless one is just stuck in there, then its like frick it.

I eat it. My eating method only requires a twist of the head then pinch end of tail and suck out the contents. Very fast and efficient. I never take the time to de-vein.

Break off tail, grab tail meat with teeth, squeeze the end of the tail, meat pops into mouth, suck head, repeat.

Nothing wrong with it. I take it out most of the time, but I do eat some.
That being said, most people who are disgusted about people eating crawfish poop line will still eat the poop line of boiled shrimp. Does that make any sense?
