If it comes even close to any of the former Donner Peltier rice-based liquors, I’m out.

I know...sarcasm isn't easy to convey on the internet...
I haven't branched out very much when it comes to whiskey, but I don't get the hate for JT. For a $40ish whiskey, it tastes pretty good to me.
I guess people like that whiskey burn, and since JT doesn't have it, they don't like it?
Hell, I don't like Woodford or Elijah Craig at all, and those are pretty popular whiskeys in the same price range.

The Meleck Whiskey is very good. It tastes nothing like LA1. Worth a try if you are a bourbon guy.

I’m gonna grab a bottle eventually. So many people have said it is good. I love trying new whiskey and bourbon.
It may not be a wow bottle in my collection, but I have enough of those. Nowadays I’m just down for getting something that tastes great and unique at a good price.
