and you are full of shite. I have eaten at pretty much every pobody place of any not in Nola area and its essentially the same. It is 100% french bread, toasted.

Honestly if you dont beleive its french bread then you are dumb as hell.

i will agree it is somewhat over hyped, but imo thats because they use low quality meats. And its more the special is overhyped. The smoked sausage and shrimp are underhyped.

its the poboys at darrells are 10x better than most of the places i have eaten around nola imo. My wife is from nola and is like you, but she only like roast beef poboys, which are dog shite most of the time imo. Like she loves short stop poboys, imo they suck arse. dry as hell. bread is so hard it cuts your mouth.
