Got several bunches of asparagus for 99 cents a pound . Looking for different ideas other than steamed/ sautéed. Will probably make creamed asparagus soup but drawing a blank on other ideas. TIA

I’m doing some salmon on pellet grill tonight with asparagus. Just little olive oil, sea salt and some lemon zest

Roll them in a little olive oil, spread on baking sheet, sea salt, pepper, garlic powder. Bake for about 15 min at 375.

That's pretty much all I do with asparagus, but with just salt & pepper, no garlic.

I like kenji's recipe from the food lab. Microwave steamed and finished with a poached egg pecans and vinaigrette

Cover in olive oil, pepper, and garlic. Make bunches of three spears, roll each bunch up in a piece of prosciutto and bake in the oven.

Cream of asparagus soup is delicious. Someone posted a recipe here once and it was great when I made it.

My little one loves them seasoned and "air fried" for about 8 minutes. Just do a simple Mediterranean seasoning and maybe some balsamic

Call them asparagus fries

Tip: Sam's has sealed bags of fresh asparagus in the refrigerated section. Considerably cheaper than the grocery store and lasts a long time.

This is our favorite also but we use minced garlic instead of garlic powder.

I like to blanch it and serve cold with a light vinaigrette and grated cheese. One of the sides I always make for Easter dinner.
