Oven baked pork steaks

Someone had mentioned on here a few months ago something about baking pork steaks in jack miller bbq sauce. I remember thinking it sounded awesome but I now would like some specifics.
Does any of your pork steak techniques involve this? I have always been a hot and fast griller with them and jack miller on the side.
A follow up question is “If you had a bunch of pork steaks, how would you cook them other than grilling?”

This isn't like what you are describing (bbq sauce), but it is damn good and simple.
Pork Chop Casserole
4 pork chops, about ¾ inch thick
2 Tbl cooking oil
¼ cup onions, finely chopped
1 ½ cup of raw rice
3 cups chicken stock
Salt and pepper to taste
Lightly brown seasoned pork chops on both sides in preheated oil. Remove and lightly brown onion. Combine remaining ingredients with onion and place in 13x9x2 inch pan or casserole dish. Top with chops. Bake, covered, at 350 for 1 hour, or until chops and rice are tender. Serves 4

There's a St. Louis pork steak thing I do on the grill that would probably translate to the oven. You hit the steaks up with pepper and garlic salt, sear them on the grill then put them in an aluminum pan that contains equal parts Budweiser and the bottled barbecue sauce of your choice. Cover with foil and cook until tender.
I bet if sear the steaks in a pan, then put them in a covered dish full of beer and barbecue sauce for an hour or two at 300, they would be as good as those on the grill.
