Popeye's Blackened Chicken Tenders

tried it today because of curiosity. i don't know if i like it. it's definitely spicier than the fried/spicy tenders, but it's also saltier. haven't made up my mind, yet.
i'm also not sure if they're made correctly since i'm up here in indiana. do they usually look like this?

That does not look like blackened chicken to me. It still looks breaded in that pic. It's almost like they breaded it then pan fried it or something?

We've ordered them numerous times and they don't look like the one OP posted. They are naked with seasoning (lots) and flash fried. When they are cooked fresh, I think they are the best tenders on the market.

I've tried to order them half a dozen times over the last two years and they refuse to make them. If I try to order in person they'll say they are out. If I order on an app that shows the store has them, they'll cancel the order or report that the store is now closed (??).
I'd love to try them eventually but I'm finding myself ordering Popeyes less and less these days. Not worth the hassle of dealing with the customer service.

I went to the Government location today and I am by no means a review writer at all. But I absolutely filled out the reciept survey because they went our of their way to be slow and rude to me. Two black chicks in front of me, they were cutting up with and never said a word to me when I walked up to order. They happen to also forget my fries, sauces, and no fork to eat my red beans with but made sure the other poeple had plenty of napkins and even double checked their food be fore they left. racists....

But this basically assures you are getting them fried fresh. And usually they’ll add a couple tenders to your order or at least the local one here in Mississippi does. They’re really good too. I don’t know what the hell that is in the OP’s pic

Popeyes food is disgusting, but that pic is a special kind of awful.
