I noticed the Wendy's near me open this morning during breakfast hours. I had heard something a while back about breakfast coming but I guess it finally rolled out.

They've been serving it at certain locations for several years. The one in Rayville has had it for at least 6-7 years. It's pretty good fast food breakfast. They crack eggs, which is a plus and the hashbrown/fry things are great.

I passed by a Popeye's in laplace a few weeks ago and there was a line in the drivethru at 7am.

Yes - and it's on the better side of fast food breakfast. Surprisingly, worst thing is the chicken biscuit. But that sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit - pretty good.

Wendy's in Boutte serves breakfast and it's pretty solid for a fast food place

The Popeyes in Boussard used to do blueberry biscuits. Their normal biscuits with a blueberry glaze, it was amazing!

Wendy's was doing breakfast decades ago, and I think they never stopped at some locations, but stopped in most, then have started to come back.
When I was in college the airport Wendy's had breakfast. That made sense to me as it was founded in Columbus...now it's a burger king

Wendy's first brought Breakfast in 1984/85. I was working for them back in HS and they rolled out Omelets to compete with McDonald's right before I quit in Feb. 85.

Obviously not everywhere. I’ve never heard of wendys breakfast until a couple weeks ago. A buddy from New Orleans said they have had it for a while. Pretty well kept secret
Wonder how that honey butter chicken biscuit will compare to whataburgers....that’s hands down the best fast food breakfast item I’ve ever had
