What are your favorite egg nog brands?

I'm one of the few people in my family and friends groups that likes egg nog but I really don't feel like sampling every different one and gaining 10 lbs in the process
I've recently tried the spiked Evan Williams and thought it was pretty solid
Willing to hear suggestions on both the spiked and alcohol free
And not that I'm really that interested in making my own but if you have a great homemade recipe that you think beats all store bought stuff then I'll hear you out and give it a try

My wife buys egg nog every year and I throw it out unopened every year at some point in February. There is a quart residing in our fridge right now. I forget what her favorite brand for me to throw away is.

I enjoy Pennsylvania Dutch.

I used to think Bordens, but I had some Southern Comfort this year, and it was awesome. I liked both the standard and the vanilla spiced.

this is the correct answer if you're looking for the alcohol to already be included in the bottle.

I want my egg nog to come from the dairy section

I go through 2 Pennsylvania Dutch bottles every holiday....from just before Thanksgiving to just after the new year....the best spiked eggnog!

All the egg nogs that are premixed with booze have a weird taste IMO, but of those, Pennsylvania Dutch is ok. I prefer buying the HEB, Borden, Oak Farms, etc egg nogs and mixing them with booze myself.

I always say that I like the idea of egg nog more than I like egg nog. I always buy some during the holidays, but there's always some left in the carton after the holidays, which then gets tossed. I tend to have two cups a year, and that satisfies my egg nog fixation.

I thought it was a bit thick. Had a glass last night and added some more brandy to it to cut thin it out
