What’s your preferred cut of steak?

I don’t think anything beats a perfectly cooked (medium rare) porterhouse.

I used to think it was a prime ribeye, but I prepared a sirloin flap the other day that was the best ever!

Flank steak is the best value, IMO. More tender than sirloin, leaner than ribeye, much better flavor than a Strip.

I don’t generally think of tri-tip or pichana as steaks since they’re larger than a regular steak, but then again I guess a tomahawk still qualifies as a steak.

I've eaten 1000 ribeyes, and filets.

I've grown to enjoy the NY strip most. I wouldn't turn any of them down.

I prefer the NY Strip because it's leaner but still really tasty and tender.

But nothing beats the taste of a ribeye that's been cooked right. It's so rich though I usually have a stomachache afterwards.
