other then sonic i dont know of a single fast food place that you can go and get a decent corn dog
to me its something that should be a staple item on every fast food menu board like fries, onion ring, and apple pies

Corn dogs & French fries is a good supper

Corndogs are only good fried in grease.

I remember the smell of those corndog stores in the mall. It was intoxicating

I always thought there was a market for corn dogs made with custom made dogs, unique meats and dipping sauces

I make them at home with weenies, shrimp and/or smoked sausage. All are so good.

I don’t think they are underrated. I’ve never heard anyone say they don’t like them. You’re asking why they aren’t more available, but that doesn’t make them underrated.

I always loved getting corn dogs at the fair as a kid. Those were great.

Yes...and cotton candy.
But cotton candy is one of the worst food items ever created

Have to agree. cotton candy never did anything for me.

When I was a kid in Ruston the local Walmart had a stand right by the front door that sold fried corn dogs and lemonade with a lemon in it. I loved them. Wish they still did that. They sold no telling how many of those things on the weekend. The smell was intoxicating as a child. Much simpler times back then. Walmart was a small chain store. I believe it was store #24.

The frozen ones cooked in the oven can be fantastic.

Apparently Korean style Cordogs are catching on in bigger cities and they’re wild.
You should check them out.

They still have a Corn Dog 7 at Southland Mall in Houma, and it's still awesome.

Because they suck at the frozen aisle.
The Fair is only once a year. Limited eating opportunities for a quality corndog. Because if not done right and extra crunchy its just cornmeal around a frozen dog.

According to other SEC members, we are supposed to bathe in them… idiots. A good corn dog with lots of mustard is hard to pass though

Corn dogs are awesome. And also probably rated at that level by most people. We have two places serving good ones here in Bham.

3 or 4 days have passed and I’m still thinking about corn dogs.
