My wife received a bottle of 70 proof vodka called "Three Olives". She doesn't drink liquor too much (she is a beer girl). I drink the vodkas around here and store it in the freezer, but that is 80 proof (Goose, Absolut, etc).

This stuff is only 70 proof. Will it freeze?

Yes

But not in your freezer.

Pure ethanol freezes at -173F, so even at only 35% ethnaol I don't think you need to worry.

Depends on the temperature of your freezer. I've had 80 proof vodka turn into a slushie before.

What kind of freezer you running in your house . 35 proof doesn't generally freeze in most house freezers.

If you have never stuck a bottle of Absolut in a freezer a few days before opening, you must try it. It makes martinis 1000x better

The only thing I drink Vodka with is a Bloody Mary. No need to be cold.
