Wrapping brisket in freezer paper instead of butcher paper

Getting up early in the morning to start a brisket and I just realized I have freezer paper instead of butcher. For lots of reasons, I won’t be able to go back to the store today.
Freezer paper is the same as butcher paper except it is coated on one side. I’m thinking if I leave the coated side on the outside when I wrap it, I should be fine.
To be clear, I’m wrapping the brisket in the paper to help it through the stall.
Any thoughts?

You'll get the same result as if you wrapped in foil. That wax won't let it breath. Not horrible, but not as good as the result with butcher paper.
Edit: As some have corrected, it's not wax, but plastic. What I was getting at is that it won't breath and will sweat inside.

Freezer paper usually has a coating of plastic, not wax.
I would not cook with it.

I think one I get everything leveled out with the fire I’ll make a quick trip to Walmart or albertsons

Good call.
Albertsons might have butcher paper in the meat department if you ask someone. They might just give you a couple feet.

Don’t fight the stall and don’t wrap in butcher paper until your bark is set

If you are around br and can't find any I have just about a whole roll at home. Wouldn't mind cutting off a few feet.

Are you in Lafayette? I'll tear you off a few feet of paper for a few slices of brisket

Thanks for the offers. I don’t care what anyone else says, the F&D baws are good people
The butcher at Albertsons was very generous and gave me enough
