Zatarain’s crawfish boil in a bag

Anybody know of a place in Baton Rouge that strictly uses the zatarain’s crab boil in a bag to season their crawfish? The liquid version and all of Louisiana’s pantry’s products have msg and artificial preservatives

I've never asked what products places use to boil crawfish and I would imagine most would not be inclined to tell you.
So you are looking for crawfish prepared with no preservatives or msg? Organic? Gluten free? No antibiotics? Free range? Cage free?

What is your hang up on msg? Lots of crawfish seasonings use it and other preservatives. The only Zats that doesn’t use msg is their pro boil version, I think, which I find to be pretty average in flavor.

Yeah, I don't get it. Most wives' tales about it have been proven false by studies.

I keep it in my pantry and am not afraid to use it. There was a pretty entertaining piece on 60 Minutes or something similar with a bunch of white people saying they couldn't eat Chinese food because "it is full of MSG and gives me headaches." Well they gave them Chinese food without MSG and they still claimed headaches. Honkeys.

Well once you actually cut out the standard American processed garbage and eat real food with no chemicals, it makes you feel like crap when you do eat that stuff. So that’s why I asked. Didn’t realize people would get the panties in a twist over a simple question. Geez

The only ingredients in the zatarain’s crab seasoning “in a bag” are: mustard seed, coriander seed, cayenne pepper, bay leaves, dill seed, & allspice.
The others have monosodium glutamate, artificial flavoring, caramel coloring

And yeah those ingredients are completely “safe” by big pharma’s and the fda’s standard of course. A large portion of the food on US shelves are banned in Europe. Even the former head of the FDA has come out and said they are feeding us trash and to avoid a lot of stuff

Can’t help the OP but I know those freaking bags are getting harder and harder to find. I stocked up a little bit the last few store trips but the stores around me can’t keep them stocked.

OP said the liquids have msg but according to the ingredients, looks like only the non-liquid powder has msg, not the liquid.

Well yeah. The liquids don’t provide saltiness, just spice. The powders are meant to be all you need. The spice and salt.
