What are your favorite couch co op games to play with your friends and family?
I would also love a couch co op RPG, something like Secret of Mana, but really anything from casual fun to an RPG would be great.

TMNT III Manhattan Project (NES)
My kids enjoying the game as much as we did 30 years ago is freaking awesome
Game Mode B they can't hurt each other so they don't fuss

Marvel ultimate alliance 3 is a fun little co-op game. Nothing that will blow your mind away but good mindless fun and time waster

How old is the family?
Me and my five year old have been playing Unravel Two for the last couple weeks. Decent, simple platformer that requires teamwork to solve the puzzles.

Overcooked is hilarious to play with the SO. It really tests the patience you have for each other.
And then your obvious Mario games. Mario Kart, Mario Party is cool. But the newest edition still hasn’t added the feature to skip the tutorial which makes me not even want to play it because I’m wasting about 10 minutes going over basic instructions every single time.

First game I downloaded was Shredders revenge, the wife and I have been playing it, it is a great throwback.
I picked up Mario kart and ordered Luigi's mansion.
I haven't downloaded all the emulators yet.
I'll look into Ultimate Alliance, I will get Secret of Mana when it goes on sale, it looks like every other month Square does a sale.

All of the Lego games are great for couch co-op. The trine series goes on sale periodically. You can get all 4 for a total $10. Super Smash bros has co-op mode.
Luigi has a special place in my heart since that was the first game me and the 6 year old beat together.

Overcooked.
I am afraid if my wife finds out about this game it will be the ONLY game that ever gets played.
I did pick up super smash brothers ultimate also.
Legos Star Wars is only $18 so I might grab that. I thought Luigi's mansion was arriving today but it looks like it isn't here.
