PS2 is still the best PlayStation.

One of the cheapest dvd players on the market and it had GTA III.

I recently discovered a practically brand new PS2 my wife had bought right around the time we met around 14 years ago. She played it for a few months and then boxed it up. It works perfectly but the only TV we have that it doesn't look like crap on(even w/ H HDMI adapter) or have input lag is our old plasma. I found some Guitar Hero guitars and games on EBay and my kids are having a blast with it. I bought a few games that I missed out that gen too.

Tricky was damn good, still remember playing SSX on my friends brother’s PS2 and being blown away when I was 10.

OG SSX was good, but Tricky took the entire thing to a new level. The story rise and fall of the EA Sports BIG dev team is a sordid tale, if I remember.

I was there. Fought a dude on the floor of an Alabama Walmart for my console when he tried to take it from my hands. Beat his arse like a rented mule.

That was basically the end of first come first serve midnight launches. After that it was mostly about pre-purchases.

I still play the shite out of MVP Baseball 2005.
