What’s the best one to play if you’ve only got one round to play?

I enjoy Gulf Shores Golf Club

Have to agree with Gulf Shores Golf Club... a hidden gem and always in good shape when I've played.
I'm also a fan of Craft Farms... Cotton Creek side is a little tighter while Cypress Bend is more wide open.
The couple of times I played Glenlakes it was in pretty good shape and had some interesting holes.
And, a little less than an hour drive to Fairhope is Rock Creek Golf Club. I've enjoyed that course a lot.
Then there are the standards... Kiva Dunes and Peninsula. Play Kiva in the morning before the winds off the Gulf kick up.

One round, Kiva. GSGC is the next best course. Then there is a fall off

Kiva by far
then GSGC, Craft Farms, Peninsula, Lost Key all 2nd tier by a significant margin

Kiva is the most overrated course in Alabama.
Peninsula is much more fun and has 3 nines and is usually in great shape.
Rock Creek is only an hour drive and is easily the best course in the area.

And that will be the only vote for Peninsula.
I will play Rock Creek next time though

Soldiers creek in elberta is a hidden gem. but a couple months ago when i played there the greens werent all that great..
If youre going bang for your buck, i think glenn lakes is under rated. especially when its just rained, the drainage on that course is great

I like Glen Lakes Golf Course. It's in Foley, but its always in good shape.
