Trying to decide which course to play at in a few weeks with some friends. Aware that the Nugget is about $160 and L'Auberge is about $100. Just seeing if any of yall have played both and whatever opinions you got on them. Thanks

Nugget for me. Fun course. Lauberge was kinda meh, but it's been years.

Those 2 courses are not really comparable
The Nugget will be hosting the Korn Ferry Tour end of March, I think
Contraband can be enjoyable, but not one of Fazio’s best. The hurricanes have taken a toll

Nugget is not worth the price.
Contraband is not really worth $100 either.

Can play Contraband for $40 with Golf Now. Worth all of that. But Hurricane Laura took a toll on it for sure.

Nugget is awesome when free, this I know

I'd play Mallard honestly

GolfNow and play contraband for $40.
I love the Nug, but it’s to high without a comp lol. If you do play it, hit the twilight.

I'm a little Biased, but I say my course is much better than Contraband. I would play the Nugget or Koasati.

New mallard is fun. Greens are firm. Brutal with some wind.

Wow didnt even think about that.. on our way in too, says only 45 min to the casinos which is where we are staying for the opening weekend of march madness. $100 there is well worth it I hear.

Golden Nugget is much better than L'auberge imo. Koasati is good and in the area.
I've always thought the Golden Nugget was a little underrated by this board, but it's still not worth $160 imo

If you and buddies can swing the extra dollars, go for the Nugget. It's a better maintained course, less traffic, likely more cart girls too. Golden Nugget has some fun par 4's you can try to drive, and par 5s to reach in two. And they have a nice restaurant and bar in the Club House. at Lauberge you have to drive the 0.5 mile back to casino for food and beers.

I think we will hit Koasati on the way in. Have always wanted to play there just could never find the 6-7 hour time frame to go out there.

Don't sleep on Gray Plantation. Use to be top 5 in La before hurricane some years ago.

Heard it was private now. But yes, was my favorite course for awhile
