How many knuckles do you see on your left hand when you grip the club?

Ball striking was pretty off last couple of months and I decided to look at my grip and the left hand had gotten weak as hell. I could not see any knuckles.

I moved the left hand over to where I could see 2, 2 1/2 knuckles and it made a world of difference in ball striking.

Amazing how important the grip is. It affects everything.

Left hand was basically the picture on the left.

For my stock swing, I need to see three. Feels like I'm gonna hook it off the planet but I don't.

Funny thing is, the weaker my left hand gets on the club, the more left balls I get.

Thanks for bringing this up, I’m playing in a tournament in July that splits handicap groups 0-5, 6-10, 11-15 etc.

I’m currently a 5.1 and now that I’m thinking about my fricking knuckles I’ll easily be able to raise that up to a 6 by July

Basically all of them lol. I have a very strong grip. I only adjust the grip when I absolutely need a fade.

Typically two, but I’ve been hooking the crap out of my driver lately. Lots of issues not the least of which is flipping my wrist, as well as a reverse weight shift, too much inside to out swing. Yesterday went to a weak grip and more straight club path - hit a lot more fairways

Knuckles do not come into mind when playing golf. My grip is the one on the right. Not strong, not weak.

I'm pretty neutral. I'd say 1. Haven't really looked with a club in my hand. I'll report back later after heading to range today.
