re: Saints sign 6 of its 7-member draft class

Not Super surprising that a nice young man named Kool Aids, is the biggest pain in the arse trying to negotiate something that essentially isn’t negotiable. ...

Running back is literally the easiest position to replace
There is no replacing Taysom Hill
Heart and soul of the team. Plays 10 positions efficiently. Winning quarterback. Actually a good guy as well. ...

It doesn’t help that he recently got little boyed by the like of Josh Giddey in the playoffs. Recency bias is probably stronger than it should be, but in the playoffs, I think it’s fair to wonder if CJ can be a positive player on either side of the ball for us. He’s been horrid as our number 2. Mayb...

I’ve been a huge fan of Alperen Sengun since 3-4 months before his draft. I enjoy watching the guy. I also am heavily invested in his rookie cards. I also don’t mind watching young teams with no expectations. It’s freeing. I’m watching bc I enjoy the players/games vs not worrying about results. I ho...

We blew the most double digit leads in the NBA, we had zero comebacks in the 4th Q, Zion was disinterested for half of the season, Ingram got hurt at a bad time near the end, we ended up in the play in again, Zion got hurt at the exact wrong time again, we got swept by a team that should be 2-3 year...

Constantly is a stretch. I’m not asking for you to analyze every single year of my posting in relation to the team, but I definitely cut down my posts and viewing of the team by about 80% this season and my negativity ramped up quite a bit. I did become more invested in the team later in the season ...

Nothing really tbh. I wasn’t very invested this season. Enjoyed the flashes of brilliance and maturity from Zion, but that’s about it. Griff squandered multiple huge opportunities to make this team a contender. Meanwhile multiple other small market teams have lapped us and others, like the Rockets, ...

re: Pelicans are not expected to offer BI extension this offseason, moving in new direction

It’s really not a bad trade. It gives us a center that provides rim protection and vertical spacing. It also gives us a point guard that’s willing to shoot 3’s, is clutch and defends.
We get rid of Ingram (who isn’t a true point, doesn’t mesh totally with Zion, and generally refuses to shoot 3’...

These aren’t bad and they are at least somewhat realistic
This would be a very successful offseason in my book.
I like trade scenarios in which we slightly overpay, bc they are much more realistic than the ones fans/homers usually cook up. These deals are much closer to reality than many peop...

That’s an article that didn’t need to get written. None of these teams have some grand master plan. They all simply reached for 4th rd talents in the top 12. This is simply a fluff piece for their respective fan bases to edge to for the next 3-4 years. ...
re: So which guard should we go after?

Now yall want Collin Sexton lol
I was clowned for 3 years for wanting him bc he tore his ACL like 3 months after I mentioned wanting to trade for him lol (BTW: that’s the offseason we traded for frickin Devontae Graham instead)
Another young, explosive guard to consider: Anfernee Simons ...

Bo Nix was horrible early in his college career and got beat out by bums at Auburn
Rattler struggled a bit early on, but was beat out by Caleb Williams
Bo Nix landed in Oregon (a top tier pac 12 team), with a qb friendly spread system in which 36% of his passes were behind the line of scrimm...
re: What IS BI's market value
Posted by 3PieceSpicy on 4/28/24 at 2:48 pm
Pairing Zion with his Duke bestie and a guy that is willing to shoot 3’s is not useless imo
I’m not saying it’s the 1st option for a BI trade. But it might be the most realistic. It would also save us some money for a Trey extension (assuming we still want him).
Pecking order would be a clear...

He might not, doesn’t mean he shouldn’t consider it.
Let’s be real though, RJ might like being back in Canada and Toronto might not even be willing to part with him for Ingram.
It’s a fair trade that both teams should arguably do, but at the same time, might not be willing to do.

CJ was 0-7 in the 1st 7 minutes of the game when it was still a back and forth tight game. If he would’ve shown up early tonight, we would’ve been up by 12 immediately and maybe the game has a different feel to it.
This is the 2nd game in the series that OKC played like complete dog shite for ext...
