Irrational Dislike of Bryson DeChambeau

Maybe it is the stupid hat that he wears...
Maybe it is the unconventional swing style...
Maybe it is the going against the grain of the normal club lengths...
Maybe it is the horrendously slow play... But, I just don't like the guy.
Can't argue that he isn't playing well with 3 top 10s and a current FedEx rank of 19.
Was anyone else subtly cheering against him yesterday?

I don’t like him either but you need guys like him, Bubba and Poulter on the tour. Gotta have a villain

I'm with you. That dumbass side saddle putting style he used also made me dislike him. Biggest thing for me is the absurdly slow play though, I'm sure it got to Stenson yesterday.

Slow is bad. The hat and the swing style work for him so why should it bother me, maybe I should try them.

Doesn't bother me a bit. Maybe the goofy set up a little, but it works for him so good on him.

Bingo.

I don't like cause of this
We get it, you got a physics degree. You're not worried about summation formulas when you're 100 yards and in.

I don’t care for him either. And didn’t really follow poulter until last year at the Zurich. He was so nice to my son on the tee box even though he wasn’t playing his best. My boy is 7 now and still talks about him a lot.

My dislike is he has a physics degree, read homer kelly’s Golfing machine (which he uses his teachings for his swing technique) and tries to come off as the god of swing science.
He is using someone else’s work and because he has the sheepskin (science degree) acts like he understands the intricate scientific details about golf and he can’t explain it to laypeople

Until he wears knickers, I hate him

I think I like him more now that I know that every single square seems to dislike him. Do you guys want every single player to be same boring Ben Martin? I always enjoy having some characters make it so that there is some uniqueness.
Full disclosure: I don't like Bubba but I'm glad he's on tour and I really enjoy watching him play.

He just has a face you want to hit with a shovel.

Of this list, slow play.
Hat - he gets paid to wear this
Swing - everyone is different and finished 2nd at Bay Hill
Clubs - see "hats"
Slow play - the only thing he controls and it's incredibly annoying to watch let alone play with.
Just like Poulter and Bubba, respect the game, not the way they play.

eh, most of the time we don't know they're slow until the announcers say something ... i would like the tour to eliminate usage of books with green information, however ... that seems to take up quite a bit of time, in addition to the questionable fairness of it ... i don't think his technique is going to hold under pressure when he really needs to manufacture a shot instead of inputting information, but that's me ... got no problem with his game at all ...

What kind of character is he? He is boring. No flare, all robotic... He is thoroughly uninteresting to watch.

It was pretty obvious yesterday. Of course the most obvious one to me happened on 18...
They both tee off, get to the ball...Stenson plays first from the right rough...The entire time, Doucheshambeau is standing over his own ball. Stenson hits, then the camera goes to Mr. Roboto, and he is just now opening up his book and doing calculations with his caddie. At that point it didn't matter how long he took, because it was the last hole and he needed to hole it out from the left rough just to force a playoff, but I was thinking "what the hell did you do for the last two minutes that Stenson was playing?"
