I am looking into HRT and other therapies for my aging body. Does anyone use these guys? Thanks.

Try your GP first and save a couple thousand bucks.

i use one of their other locations.
i like them. you are paying a premium price for convenience.
you'll save a lot of money IF you can get a GP to treat you the way you need to be treated and sign off on it.
you can save a little more through online companies.
they didn't upsell. they explain things pretty well? (i did a ton of my on research and am a medical professional and they didn't sell me a bunch of BS). They get supplies to me ASAP. if i have questions or concerns they consult with me any time. if the cost of convenience doesn't bother you then id recommend them.

Expensive AF and they require bloodwork every 2-3 months during your TRT.
I think the bloodwork runs about $200.

Thanks. I'm seeing my PCP tomorrow morning to let him know I already did the bloodwork and am meeting with them on Friday. If my doc will work with me and I can save money then I'll consider going that route. Having said that, the money isn't an issue and I'm already in for $220 at Rejuvime.
My guess is that my doc won't want to sign off based on comments he's made in the past. I'm over 50, and I'm putting in the work, but results are not there. I'm letting my PCP know that I'm doing something, either way, so he can decide if he wants to help directly or just be advised of what I'm doing.

I added a few OOC things since my last bloodwork.
Retest coming in 2 weeks. I’ll let you know if any of it helped.

Well what are your T and free T levels? When I started TRT it was with one of these places. And they’d happily give you enough to be above the range of normal. But that comes with a physical price as well as financial. Blood dumps 3-4 times a year and a host of things that keep real doctors from giving you 200 mg a week.
Ask Rejuvime for a prescription for the Test, which I get for about $10 a week, and they’ll tell you something like “we only provide XYZ Test because it’s “bio-identical” and it costs $60 a week.”
If you are just going to throw money at gear, just ask the biggest dude in your gym. He knows more than the PA at Rejuvime and will sell it to you for a fraction of the price.

There are legit sites to purchase it but it comes at a risk of getting confiscated when it hits customs.

There are plenty of domestic sites, but I suggest the op post his blood work and let’s see what we can do without going on hormones first.
But he should find and get referrred to a urologist before using a place like rejuvime

I’ll get my follow up work done in less than 2 weeks.
I’m going to ask that they add eGFR since I added a bunch of OTC oral stuff. I’ve had issues with supplements hammering my kidney function before.

nothing i will suggest nor will testosterone affect kidney function. if kidney function is an issue, let us know as there are things to help that too.

I was taking something that had a lot of calcium, potassium and magnesium and my eGFR was in the mid 50s.
Stopped it and retested a month later, and it was in the mid 60s. Last test had it in the lower 70s.

His thoughts: He says there is usually a testosterone spike in the morning and in the late afternoon with valleys in between. The time of day the blood was drawn was probably during a lull so he would expect the testosterone level to be below target. Given some of my health issues (cardiac), he would not recommend testosterone therapy because it would work against me. Instead, he suggested diet, exercise, and possibly Ozempic/Wegovy if I wanted to drop weight faster. The way he explained it, Ozempic/Wegovy could be used to drop weight and then you can get off of it if you've changed your lifestyle enough to sustain. As you can imagine, most people don't make the necessary adjustments and gain weight after they get off of it. Or, you can stay on it and keep the weight off -- but it's not cheap because insurance does not cover it for weight loss (yet). He said Rejuvime might have competitive pricing for Ozempic so I should check that out on Friday. We will see.

if you have cardiac issues and stand to lose significant weight to be normal fat % i would agree with your physician that test treatment might not be best for you.
really only sought treatment myself because my levels were VERY low and i was good body condition, exercise and lift regularly, and have a mostly healthy diet and i didn't have any other underlying health issues. I would get all that in order and retest your testosterone after in a good place for awhile.

so get another test done for total and free test, estrogen, progesterone, and dhea and see where you are. do the test fasted
i do agree with him on if there is another way take that route. I say that as someone who has been on trt since my early 30s......after 7 years plus a year of daily injections for the fertility treatment...i can tell you the shite sucks after a couple years and i have to do this the rest of my life.
not sure what rejuvime has for pricing of semaglutide but peptide sciences has it and those on reddit report it being legit. just an option since you are having to pay out of pocket anyways.
i would suggest though that you look into the following if you do not get on testosterone
- carditone and Nattokinase- these two combined will help you out big time on the heart issue if they are related to BP. also will lower you chance at a stroke etc. amazing supplements for overall health
for testosterone
1) sustain alpha by iconic supplements
2) t-sterone10 from truenutrition
combine those two with a legit linear progression program like gslp and 10k steps daily and a good diet and the weight will come off quick.

don't bother, it's ridiculously expensive. get your GP to do some bloods and post them here and we'll tell you your options.
just FYI most docs around here are fricking idiots when it comes to TRT and have very dated knowledge. I had to go see a specialist in Houston that 777 recommended to get any real insight.
the clinics like Rejuvime are too expensive. do it all yourself.
Test E $31/5ml vial at CVS with GoodRX coupon
27ga needle/syringe 50pk is $13 from Westend

I pay $20 for (3) shots a month. Insurance covers it and GP prescribed it. Bloodwork is also covered

3 shots a month? Your levels must be a roller coaster. Do you feel the difference when you get close to your next shot?
Posted on 10/5/22 at 8:32 pm to FriscoKid
If you only take 3 shots a month, dump that doctor immediately, he is an idiot
