Best Gyms in Lakeview/Metairie area in New Orleans

Recently moved to New Orleans and currently looking for decently priced gym memberships for my wife and I. Right now we are locking in a membership at Premier Fitness on Veterans, but I would like to get another opinion before pulling the trigger.

There's one of those "Anytime Fitness" places on Canal St. right across from Beachcorner Bar and Grill. That is near the end of Canal coming from the CBD right before you hit the cemeteries.
ETA: A quick search showed several fitness centers/gyms in and around the Lakeview area.

Appreciate the google search tip. That’s always helpful, but I’ve already done that.
Was just checking to see if anyone knew of any hidden gems (pun intened) before I settle on one.

Not sure in that area but westbank athletic club is the best in the NOLA area. Prolly a good cf area though.

I work on the Westbank, so I would join it if it wasn’t for my wife wanting something closer to our house.

I go to The Parks. I like it there. Not sure that it is a gem, but don’t think there are any facilities that fit that description.

I go to the Parks as well, nice gym, clean and has all the equipment I need. Has a bunch of free classes (can check the schedule on their website) that your wife may like.

Snap in Lakeview isn't bad. Chronos in Metairie is nice. Uno is good too

Premier is fine. I used to workout there when I lived on Metairie Road since it was so damn close.

Parks has been my favorite.
