Anyone in here ever run the MAPS Anabolic program from Mind Pump? I've just completed my first 9 week cycle of it using the 3 days/week calendar and I'm about to run it again. I really liked phase 1 (strength) and phase 2 (hypertrophy), but less so with phase 3 (metabolic). I'm thinking of running phase 1 for 3 weeks, then phase 2 for 3 weeks, then repeating that X1 for a total of 12 weeks. Anyways, just seeing if anyone has tried that before or has any input. Thanks!

Maps makes really good intelligently modeled programs. What you are suggesting would be fine. The metabolic phase is for dropping bodyfat or aiding in it as that's mainly a diet mechanism.

If your goal is size and strength what you are suggesting is perfect.

I'm pretty sure thats what thibtigerfan was doing with some running mixed in. I'm sure he will respond if hes sober!

Back in town and sobered up!

I usually run Phase 1 for 3 weeks
Phase 2 for 3 weeks
Phase 3 for 2 weeks

Then start over

I swap between anabolic and aesthetic. May try split next though just to change it up

I usually run or go to crossfit on the off days for active recovery.
