I’m 64.
Intermittent Fasting 16 hours a day. Eating window is usually Noon - 8 pm.

I’m struggling getting in that much Protein. My Caloric intake 2300 max is pretty easy in 8 hours.

Weights 3 times a week, walking 8-10k steps per day.

Lost 20 lbs in about 30 days, but need quick and clean high protein suggestions.

I get that much protein in with much less calories when im cutting. I usually consume at least a lb of lean meat a day as well as egg whites, greek yogurt, and/or a protein shake.

Do you have a food scale? It helps to measure everything.

Eggs. Egg whites. Siggis yogurt. Whey protein shakes. Chicken breast. Sirloin (I love the pre-cooked sirloin from Cuisine Solutions found at Costco). Mahi or cod. Cans of sardines or tuna.

If you’re struggling to stay under 2300 calories, then I’d avoid fattier cuts like ribeye or ground beef. Rotisserie chicken is okay if you remove the skin, but I assume they inject the chicken with butter.

Protein supplementation is the only answer here.

This isn’t normal. Not trying to be a dick. You may want to consult a doctor.

You are struggling to get 132 g of protein with 2300 calories? Damn.

I'm currently at 210 g of protein at 2000 calories

My easiest suggestion is chicken wraps:

- toss some chicken breasts in crockpot
- throw in a jar of salsa
- cook on high for 4 hours
- shred
- throw shredded chicken on some low carb tortillas with some low fat cheese

a 350 g wrap will give you about 55 gram of protein at about 250 calories per wrap

Ribeye Steak, scrambled eggs, Whey protein isolate (get a clean one that doesn't have seed oils or sucralose etc in it)

That should pretty much have you set.

Typo, I've been doing for 30 days. Added Creatine to my pre-workout drink, and I think I'm holding some water weight. I also really struggle drinking a lot of water, which I know is needed.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

If your Pre has caffeine in it you are wasting your time. Need to take the creatine at least 2 hours after the caffeine. This is directly from creapure who manufacture creatine. They two don't go well together.

Non fat yogurt.

17g of protein per serving and 100 calories.

That’s interesting can you link your source? I’ve never read or heard that. I only find one small study that suggests it may have a correlation but many other studies that show no correlation.

Interesting, have never heard this. If this is the case, not sure why pre-workouts have contained creatine for so many years now

Some do and some don't. Its like multi vitamins that contain Calcium and Magnesium they essentially cancel each other out when taken at same time. Throwing everything but the kitchen sink in supplements is what the industry does even if it hinders absorption or makes no sense.

I think the struggle is doing it an 8 hour window. Protein really fills me up ( which it’s supposed to do), and I find myself 20-30 grams short with about 30 minutes to eat and feeling full. Going to readjust and go heavy protein on my 1st meal.

Egg whites.

12-16 oz egg whites 40-50g of protein
6-8 oz of chicken another 40-50g
Add a scoop into a shake- 25g
Greek yogurt cup or 2- 12-15g x 2

I eat around 2200-2300 calories a day and get in between 240-250g of protein
