I've only used the Dr Jekyll brand, it's ok. I just went to gnc one day and found one that looked good for when I work nights. When I run out I'll probably get a different brand.

I’m just wondering if any are really that effective. I analyzed many and some of the common ingredients were citrulline and agmatine.
I decided to buy the single ingredients from nutricost for dirt cheap and it did nothing for me. So idk if that brand is garbage or if the same would happen with an actual pre workout supplement.

Does coffee count as a stimulant pre-workout? Imo it is the healthiest pre-workout option.
I tried my own mixture of glutamine, amino acids, and citruline and that worked ok.

I just pop NoDoz pills. Straight caffeine, even healthier than coffee.
I also have bulk citrulline malate and agmatine. They're two of the best and cheapest preworkout supps. Buying a preworkout makes you pay for ingredients that may be underdosed or pointless.

Hate to break it to y'all but all those nitrogen oxide, vasodilator, "pump" supplements like NOxplode, etc. are a scam. They don't work. If you really want something that will dilate your blood vessels and give you a pump, low dose ED medications are supposedly the newest, greatest thing. Seems like it would be a bit pricey though taking them every day.

Here's an article with some studies linked about pump products. Seems like they do their job for the most part of the right stuff is taken.

WHAT DOES VASO6 DO?
As we explained above, the compounds present in VASO6 have been shown to exhibit endothelium-dependent relaxation (EDR) activity in vitro. They do this by causing a release of endothelial nitric oxide, which subsequently increases levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (GMP) in the vascular smooth muscle cells.
This series of reactions culminates in both vasodilation and vasorelaxation, which means you get an increase in blood flow, nutrient, and oxygen delivery as well as a reduction in blood pressure. In fact, research shows that the compounds present in VASO6™ leads to 50% vasodilation. Compare that to the 5% vasodilation of arginine, and you can see just how powerful VASO6 is.[10,11]
So, not only do the compounds in VASO6 help drive more blood to your working muscles, they also reduce the strain on your cardiovascular system to pump that additional blood throughout your body.
This translates to a better functioning cardiovascular system, exercise performance, and muscle pumps!

Check out Vasky by Mts Nutrition. It’s probably a 9/10 as far as vascularity and overall pump
