If you have power and gas already run, that will help with installation costs.
I installed a 22kw Generac and a 200 amp trf switch in 2018 for around 8K.

8K sounds about right, 11 to 12 (or higher depending on brand and options) if you go with a quieter water cooled 1800 RPM unit.

I was all in for 7,500 with HMC in Dutchtown. They even poured the concrete pad. Generac 22KW

Depends on what brand you're looking for... Briggs, Kohler, Cummins, Generac. They're not an apples to apples comparison.

Just had a 20 hp Briggs and Stratton installed 2 weeks ago. I had to have my gas line replaced and that was 90 feet. I had the transfer switch already installed and the total price was $8100. That was with Rescom in Prairieville.

Used Magic Electric, I had the TS and slab done when I built. Paid $6200 for generator and install. 22kw Generac a few months back.

10,500 for a Kohler being installed now. With pad. That includes 1300 for a new meter that Zachary charges for. Everyone I spoke with and all the research I did said stay away from generac.
