AC pan full. Wet vacced it out but no joy. This is the float switch.

Float is moving and goes all the way down after pan drained. AC still not working.

Please help.

Maybe it's broken. Can you just bypass it and see if it's working.

No expert here, just stating what I would try:

Have you tried flipping the breaker? Leave it off for a few minutes before closing it again.

Is the switch damaged or not functioning properly? From my experience the little plastic brackets that hold them in place are cheap. Can you confirm the switch retracted since the flood?

Let me try. Cut wires and quick connect them together?

Tried breaker.

No luck.

Going to sleep upstairs (separate system that is working) and get AC guy in.

That would complete the circuit.

Should work. I'm not an AC guy though and that switch looks overly complex.

If the switch operates "normally open" you can just wire nut the two wires together. If the switch is "normally closed" then disconnect the two wires from the float switch and don't let them touch.

Note that if you do this you are bypassing your float switch so the pan could still fill up and leave you in a bad spot.

Wired together, bypassing switch altogether. No joy.

Looks like it’s going to be the HVAC guy’s problem. I’ve done all I can.

Is this the pan under the coil or the emergency pan? Might be another float switch. My last one had one in the drain and 1 in the pan.

One of the best tools/techniques to try in any situation where your logical attempts have failed:

Strike the offending device firmly a few times with a hard object. Could possibly be the "switch" got hung up in the "off" position and will release with some jarring

You probably have tried letting the system "reset" for 10 minutes. Sometimes by design it takes some time to start up again.

Also, it has a magnetic switch. You may have to disconnect the power to the switch to reset.
