Bathroom Heater/light/vent recommendation. Current one is melted and sputtering.

Built the house 8 years ago. This heater is used pretty much every morning and evening in the master bathroom. Current one is sputtering and about to give out. The plastic has melted and it def needs to be changed. Any recommendation on a different model vs putting the same exact one back?
NB4 dust needs to be cleaned and termites in the light cover…

Panasonic will make a quieter model.

Can vouch for Panasonic (Whisper warm heat/vent/light). Put mine in 20 years ago, still work great.
Of course I clean mine once a year...

I installed 3 of these “ Panasonic FV-0511VHL1 WhisperWarm DC Bathroom Fan with Light and Heater” in the past year in my house (bathroom updates).

those things change so fast its best to just go to home depot or lowes and see what they have.
they will have the cheap contractor specials, and then the better made more expensive ones

I know it’s hard to tell just looking at my photo, but will that fit here? Are they generally always a typical size cut out?

What's the bathroom size?
What size breaker is the current one on?
I just put a 1400W utilitech from Lowes in my bathroom. It's quiet but doesn't get very hot. I have mine of a 15A circuit. If you get any higher wattage make sure you are on a 20A breaker with 12g wire.

They come in all sizes. Best to determine a close fit before selecting. Otherwise it is sheetrock/mud and paint.

Panasonic FV-0511VH1
Extremely quiet, and works very well.
You may have to make an additional cut-out.

I have two of these models as well, and they're great. If and when my other two Broan (contractor grade) H/V/L go out, I will replace them with the FV-0511VHL1 model.

Would you know the length and width of it by any chance?

My existing visible plastic is like little over 10.5” by 16.5”
I wonder if this would fit in the hole?

Take the cover off and you should be able to see the size of the hole in the sheetrock.

Yes - this is a factor you must consider before deciding on a replacement. You should be able to remove the existing plastic shroud on yours to measure the size of the existing opening in your ceiling, and you’ll need to order a replacement bathroom ventilator that has a plastic shroud large enough to cover the existing hole (unless you want to do ceiling repair which I’m sure you don’t) or as stated you may need to enlarge the size of the existing ceiling opening.
I’m trying to recall from memory, but my existing ceiling opening for the old ventilators in my house were 8 1/2 x 14 and the Panasonic model I mentioned I used did have a plastic shroud that covered that opening - honesty it was was difficult to find Panasonic Whisperquiet model that would cover the existing opening.
Panasonic will have all the specific size specifications of bathroom ventilators on their website - so measure your existing ceiling opening then go the Panasonic website, find models you are interested in, see the plastic shroud dimensions will cover your existing ceiling opening.
Now, the model I said I purchased does have a night light function that in my case required an additional electrical wire to be installed, but you don’t have to use that function and install that wire. So happened I had electricians in the house doing other work so I had them install that electric wire to used the night light function, which I like, and install the ventilators.
Let me say as others have mentioned the Panasonic is extremely quiet, and by and large, they have the best reviews and reputation among bathroom ventilators.
