Been using the Spartan hang tubes and I guess they work to some extent, but we're still getting bit every time we walk out the back yard.

Is there any kind of yard spray I can buy and put in my backpack sprayer?

Hit it with that or talstar and make sure you don't miss the bushes.

This. Bifen and Talstar are the same. Spray EVERYTHING. Lawn, shrubs, tree canopy, house, literally everything. You won't have ANY bugs, much less mosquitoes.

I tried the Bifen in my Ryobi sprayer and it was too thick. Probably user error admittedly. I’m going to try the Bifen again but cut it a lot more with water and we shall see

I did find some cutter spray meant for backpacks at HD that worked pretty well for me. Good luck

Totally worthless. I experimented with them for 3 straight years and reported my results back to this board. They’re trash.

Use some of the above methods. All would be made more effective if your immediate surrounding neighbors treat too.

Don’t spray flowers, it’s bad for bees.

Thanks, y’all. Looks like Bifen is the consensus reply. I’ll start with that.

My Terminix rep blows talstar dust around the outside of my house every month. I chose this over spraying liquid in my house. Didn’t know it was an option pre Covid. Never had roaches but it sure has helped my mosquito issues also. You might be able to get this done for just your monthly service fee from your pest control company

It is 1oz of talstar to 1 gallon of water.

To the guy spraying it out of a backpack make sure you triple rinse it if you've had herbicide in it. You don't want to kill your shrubs or damage your trees.

Bifen IT can be used outside but it is water-based and doesn't hold up to the elements well.

I'd use Bifen XTS which is oil-based and won't immediately wash away with moisture.

Bifen also makes the granules that you can put in your spreader and broadcast around the house.

This! Also, you only need to mix 1/4oz per gal with the XTS. 1oz per gal with the IT.

Thank you very much. I definitely did more than 1oz of talstar…. Haha. Going to retry soon

ETA: I think I have bifen chemicals but same difference
