EGO electric lawn tools and mowers, reviews?

Based on the positive comments here and elsewhere lately, I'm considering an electric mower.
The lot I plan on my gf mowing weekly is a half acre lot that she insists on push mowing.
Her little Honda mower does a nice job, but just really has gotten too slow.
EGO has like 7 mowers. Anyone have one that they can tell me about? Even with their comparison chart, I'm still in the dark.
I also want to get a blower and a string trimmer.

I have the edger, blower, trimmer which are all excellent. I would not touch the mower. It would be inferior to my Honda gas mower.

Same here. I have a little postage stamp yard in Houston Heights. It works perfectly for that.
Moving to 4.5 acres soon, and am looking for a mower for it. Considering Ego's 0 turn, but not sure I'm ready to pull the trigger on it.

I have the blower and the carbon staff weed eater. Both are great.
Honda makes a great mower. Get another one, you wont regret it.

I have all of their handheld tools
String Trimmer
Hedge trimmer
Chainsaw
Blower
I love them all and would definitely recommend
I looked at their zero turn and it felt real solid. I’ll give that a year before seriously considering.
I currently cut grass at my residence with a big commercial mower from Troy bilt and really like it so no need for me to make a change.

I have the blower, edger, and weed eater. I’ve had them since the summer of 2018. I use 2 batteries for all 3 pieces of equipment, I bought the weed eater as just the tool. The edger crapped out on me after the first season, probably my fault but I don’t know. I really think the shaft is bent causing and the battery to trip as soon as I bring it up to speed every time. Lost the receipt for that piece of equipment so I couldn’t return it. Both of my batteries were definitely weaker after the first season too. They still work but don’t last as long as they use to. I mainly notice it when I don’t cut the grass for longer than normal because of weather or something.
Don’t know if I’d go for the bigger lawn equipment with how fast the batteries lost their full capacity in my experience.
I’d recommend the small equipment for an acre or less lot for sure.

Stick with a gas mower. If you have DeWalt tools, I’d look at a battery powered weed wacker or blower. Electric blowers are only good for blowing a deck or sidewalk.

Not Ego, but I have an 80v Kobalt self propelled mower, string trimmer. I let my brother borrow the weed eater, he went out and bought one, and then also the chainsaw and blower. The tools are well made. I’m fairly sold on battery-powered yard equipment for my sized yard. It works great.
Full disclosure - I mowed with a corded-electric Greenworks and thought it was fine for a year or two until my wife just HAD to mow the lawn and couldn’t work the cord, so we got this guy.

my battery pack for my blower and weed eater failed after 3 years, a bunch of individual cells inside of it failed, that battery is $250
went back to gas, American made Stihl
EGO is all made in china

Ego is awesome.
Get her any of the self propelled models, if I were buying today I would get the select cut XP with 10ah battery, we have the select cut with 7.5ah battery. Wife never just cut the grass before when we had a gas mower, and we had a nice Honda self propelled before it got stolen, the ego, I think she likes using the tools because not only does she mow, she blows everything off after too...

This summer I slowly acquired the EGO line - 21" propelled select cut mower, weedeater, blower, hedge trimmer, 18" chainsaw, and 2 batteries (2.5 & 7.5). Been pleasantly surprised by the overall quality.
I downloaded the pdf the EGO puts out with their product line. That helped me understand that a lot of the variation is about the battery, either capacity or with/without. The LM2135SP is the current model year's top of the line product with the 7.5Ah battery that you see at Lowe's. It's what I have and recommend it. Wait another month or so and it may go on deep discount.
Just know that the mower will have a blade designed for max run time installed. I'm using the mulching blade now and noticed it produces smaller chunks of grass blades. Want to try out the high lift bagging blade too.
For normal use, it is hard to beat the value of the basic blower/weedeater combo that comes with another charger and 2.5 Ah battery.

I have an Ego blower, and for most uses it's fine. I won't sing its praises because it's not strong enough for actual leaf blowing, and the battery life on it is only about 30-40 minutes of continuous use. I didn't buy a spare battery when I bought it, and haven't since. It's fine for blowing off the driveway after cutting the grass, or a quick blowing off of the porch or deck, but other than that it's kind of useless. When I bought it, it was the strongest one they made. Not sure if they've improved on that since.
So I would say keep the battery life in mind when researching/buying.

Have the mower and string trimmer, decided on the dewalt blower after some comparisons.
Highly recommend them all, the mower feels the same as my neighbors gas Honda and I can cut my yard 2-3 times between battery recharges when I forget to put it back on. The battery also recharges in about 30 min so not a big deal even when you do forget

Thanks for all the feedback.
I worked on her Honda mower a bit today, trying to speed it up a little, as that's her only complaint with it. Maybe just a cable issue I hope. It starts easy and cuts well.
Thinking I'll go ahead and get the EGO string trimmer and blower combo set if I can find it. We don't have a whole lot to blow, but an electric option would be so much more convenient than gas or cord.
