American Standard 4061, fairly new commode that was installed within the past 5 years.

I have replaced the flapper and fill valve, and still seems to have some sort of mysterious slow leak into the bowl causing the fill valve to need to refill every 30-60 minutes.

Next step is to replace every last component, all new fill valve again, flapper assembly, tank seal etc.

No leaming present outside the base of the bowl or anywhere.

Those big American standard seals get cockeyed. Make sure the chain from your lever is directly above the center and long enough. I had one that was short and a little off kilter, created a leak and weak flushes.

How high is the water in the tank? It should be about a quarter of half inch below the overflow tube. Make sure it isn't trickling over the top.

The flapper may not be sealing on the drain. Run you finger around to see if there is any buildup that may be letting water around it. I have used 400 grit wet or dry sandpaper to smooth the surface.

Toilet kit tank cleaners can scar the drain piece the flapper falls into. Make sure it’s smooth.

Sandpaper smooth or replace. It’s science bro.

Your small rubber tube that goes in the fill tube pipe is too low, its in water
It is siphponing water out of the tank, so the tank then refills
Raise thevrubber fill hose higher

That problem fricked with me for months

A couple of washers on tip of the flapper will give it some weight to help keep it sealed. Also, don't let your wife use those drop in bleach tabs in the tank. The bleach eats rubber seals.

its probably the flapper. I've had them that look and feel perfect but still manage to leak.

Try temp putting a bit of weight on the flapper housing and see if that stops the tank from dropping

I couldn't figure wtf you were talking about so I did a little googling. Pretty interesting. I definitely did not realize this could happen.

See if the handle might not be going 100% back up on its own. The fancy side ones I use like to intermittently stop around 90% after a couple years regardless of brand.
