Going rate for Bathroom remodel

Just curious what the going rate is for a half bath remodel and master bathroom remodel would be.
Mainly paint, new counter tops, mirrors, lights tub, tile shower and tile floor.
Half bath would be tile, toilet, mirror paint. I know it all depends on finishes but this would be middle of the road stuff.

Whatever you do, do NOT hire Acadian Kitchen & Bath for this project.

Seems easy enough to sub out those items and make a spreadsheet. I did all of that plus new sinks and fixtures for about $7k/full bath ~ 5 years ago. I did the painting.

I just subbed my master bath and did some of the carpentry myself for 15k, middle of the road finishes, 12x13ft in LA. Tile shower, new tub, etc. so prob 20-25k if your paying a contractor.
Half bath would be really cheap, less than 5K.

Not sure if I end up getting this house or not but it’s the neighborhood I want to be in so there will be some remodeling needed on any house.
It’s got the master bath then a secondary master, Jack and Jill bath room, full bath, and 3 half baths. The outdoor pool bath was recently added so it doesn’t need to be done but the other 6 do.

Those are some beautiful bathrooms

We redid our master shower last year, looks to be about the same size as the one pictured. It was around $10k which still seems crazy to me.
We wanted to renovate the whole bathroom, floors, countertops, take out the tub and extend the shower and add a linen closet. We didn’t go through picking out the floors, countertops, finishings, etc but the estimate was around $30-40k depending on price of the items above. This was in Houston as well.
Over the past few years I’ve come to figure just about any renovation you want to do is going to be a minimum of ~$8-10k

Whatever estimates you get, increase them by 25-30% at least to make sure you have enough. I'm going through a kitchen/foyer/half bath/mudroom reno and EVERYTHING has come in over estimates. Contractors suck at giving you reasonable expectations.
Plus you don't know what surprises they find once they start working. We found plumbing in walls we wanted to take down and the plumbing costs skyrocketed. But besides the surprises, everything was more than estimated... floors, electrical, cabinets, appliances, etc.
The wife and I had guessed we'd need 70-80k before we started getting the estimates. Then the first estimate was 100k. Now as we're finishing up we'll be all in $125k, barring anymore surprises. And we know a few people who have done smaller scale kitchen renos than we are doing who paid even more. Never dreamed it'd cost the same as a small house. Wish we could've pulled the trigger 3-4 years ago when we originally wanted to. God knows how much more it cost us in materials with inflation since then.

Yeah I’m going to do this over time so hopefully if won’t be as bad.
New construction in this neighborhood is $325 sqft to $370 sqft it seems like. Lot of other houses going $260 to $295 sqft range so I should be getting this one for around $228 which gives me some room for some remodeling.

Just not my style.
Either one of these styles would work for me.

One of the issues with bathrooms is actually all the partial day work. If you need a tile guy for say 2 hours and not 8 hours, its very hard for those guys to stack multiple jobs into a single day so the price is usually higher.
Doing multiple bathrooms at the same time generally is cheaper than one at a time.
In nice homes, contractors often bend people over for a master they have no sympathy.
The biggest costs is generally what needs demo, moving something around like a toilet or shower, and then really the most expensive is what fixtures and what not you put into a unit.

Yep
I did one a few years ago and they removed all the floor tile and
Surprise!!!!
Sub floor was like paper mache after termites had devoured just about all of it.
Needed a new subfloor which actually wasn’t that bad or expensive. Just not something we ever expected to find

In what way? Quality of work? Price?
I am thinking about meeting with Acadian House Design & Renovation (I think you were referring to them).
Thanks.
