Grass between pavers/concrete... looks cool but how do you maintain?

This looks awesome. But how in the holy hell do you maintain this?!

If you have a push mower, should be able to drop to lowest setting. If not simple weed eating works.

Doesn’t seem complicated to me...you mow and edge it. That picture actually looks like shite the edges aren’t sharp at all.

Looks like an edging nightmare to me..

You can rarely get the grass to look that good in the heat of the south. You will usually get die out in little areas. If its a shady area you can plant dwarf mondo grass.

I’ve been toying with the idea of doing the entire front lawn in this. Two large live oaks on either side just make keeping green grass an impossibility. The monkey grass along the sidewalk is the only thing that reliably grows.

That would be a pain the backside.

I put some big pieces of stone in the ground as a walkway between a patio and my driveway at my last house. Countersunk the stones so they were below ground level so I could just roll right over with the mower. Then would come back with the weed eater and cut back to the edges of the stone. The weed eater part only took a couple of seconds per stone and was real easy. Looked damn sharp. Just had to keep up with it and not let the grass take over.

The grass in that pic is 100% synthetic

I think the only way to pull that off and look good is to go with Zeon Zoysia
