How much should it cost to get an outlet installed outside on brick?

There is indoor electrical (and an outlet) directly on the other side, so it would not be complicated. I am trying to wire up an outdoor TV and about to ask for quotes. Want to know what is outlandish and what is reasonable.
Thanks!
Thanks!

If the existing electrical is right on the other side of where you want the outlet, I'd imagine it'll cost you $100 or so to make it worth the electrician's time.

Best guess.
Side job price $250 + material.
Local roaming electrical service company $450.
If you want the plug flush, someone is going to have to chip out the brick for the box and electricians have an aversion to chipping guns. That runs the cost up.

If I were you, I'd figure out some basic electrical skills on youtube and do it yourself to be honest.

Including drilling the brick?
$350
Not joking.

I would imagine the hardest part will be cutting the brick.

Is it going to be in a cabinet?

how close to the ceiling are you mounting the TV?
Cheap option - If it's only a foot or 2, run the wire through the rough and cap it with a cover that blends with the brick.
If you don't want that option, chip out the whole brick and mount an outlet in that spot. Get a cover plate that is as wide as the brick to cover the hole.

It's not, it's going to sit on a piece of furniture. The outlet can be behind that piece of furniture near ground level, so it doesn't have to be pretty.

So it's actually going in our sunroom (Florida room) that was added on to the back of our brick house. It has a brick wall, but a wood floor with crawl space. Maybe the best bet is put an outlet on the floor?
You've got my creative juices flowing

Then just drill through the wall and attach the box to the brick.

I've never done this before - I will frick it up.
Plus, I'll have to get masonry bits and all the hardware. End up costing me over $100 I bet anyway. And if it's really ugly, it'll piss off my wife even if it's hidden.
I'm thinking about something like this and paying someone to do it:

It might cost you $20 (probably not even that). It really isn't hard, but do what you want.

This is what I was quoted this week.

It would have been much more if he chiseled out the brick but I also did not care if it was pretty since it is behind furniture. Basically it is a metal box attached to brick (with a hole drilled through brick) with an outlet in it.

In ‘19 I had 2 added on my back porch among others things. I paid $380 total for those 2 outlets. My entire job ran me around $2,500 so these 2 outlets were a small part of the total.
